Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Data Analyst or Data Engineer looking to drive the strategic direction and evaluation of the Lidl Online Shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for the evaluation and further development of business processes, focusing heavily on data-driven decision-making within the Marketing department. Day-to-day tasks include supporting departments with insightful analyses, developing and maintaining data pipelines for management and marketing interfaces, and conceptualizing and implementing automated processes to boost productivity. A key focus is identifying optimization potential and implementing measures to maximize data quality and availability. This position requires a strong background in data analytics, proficiency with modern analytics tools (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery) and languages (Python, SQL), and a relevant degree in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics. The role offers flexible, hybrid working options in either Neckarsulm or Berlin.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, (Business) Mathematics, or comparable field

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience, ideally in a similar role as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer
  • Experience with database and table models (Data Lakehouse, Data Vault)
  • Experience in building and developing a functional area
