Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Measurement and Control Technician to join the Maintenance department in Bergheim near Cologne. The primary focus is ensuring the operational safety and reliability of all measurement and control (M+C) systems within the plant. Day-to-day tasks involve troubleshooting, repairing, and performing scheduled maintenance on M+C equipment, strictly adhering to VDE regulations. You will be responsible for switching and securing M+C systems, conducting inspections, and documenting all activities. The position requires active participation in projects, operational trials, and quality documentation efforts, alongside contributing improvement suggestions for system optimization. Key qualifications include a relevant technical education (e.g., Automation Technology Electrician), further qualification as a Certified Technician or Industrial Master Electrician, and several years of experience in industrial environments, coupled with strong knowledge of safety regulations (VDE, UVV, BG).
