Job Summary

Symrise is seeking an engaged Chemist or Junior Technologist for a 14-month full-time contract to focus on the application testing and formulation of new active ingredients, specifically within Microprotection, Sunprotection, and Actives business units. Day-to-day responsibilities include application-technical testing of new active ingredients, developing and establishing new test methods for formulation evaluation, and conducting stability tests for raw materials and final formulations. The role requires independent project management, coordination of external tests (such as preservation efficacy and clinical tests), and developing customized analytical methods for stability assessment. Candidates should have a degree in Cosmetic/Detergent Technology or Chemistry, or equivalent training, with experience in formulation technology and analytical work, ideally with HPLC methods.
