Job Summary

This role is critical for the continuous evaluation and strategic enhancement of the Lidl Online Shop's business processes. The Marketing Data Analyst will be responsible for providing impactful analyses to guide strategic direction, developing and maintaining robust data pipelines to supply management and marketing teams with necessary data, and supporting the department in assessing and evolving operational processes and innovations. Key responsibilities include conceptualizing and implementing automated processes to boost productivity, and actively identifying optimization potential to maximize data quality and availability. The ideal candidate possesses a data-driven mindset, multi-year professional experience in data analysis or engineering, proficiency in Python and SQL, and a degree in a quantitative field like Statistics or Economics. This position offers the opportunity to significantly contribute to the development of the data analytics area within an international retail environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, (Business) Mathematics, or comparable field

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience, ideally in a similar role as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer
  • Experience with database and table models (Data Lakehouse, Data Vault)
  • Professional experience utilizing common analytics tools and languages (Python, SQL)
