Job Summary
The Principal Lead is a key senior member driving the strategic design and expansion of country engagement portfolios for the Principles for Peace Foundation (P4P), focusing on redefining global peacebuilding methodologies. This high-impact role requires translating P4P's strategic plan into concrete country portfolios and implementation models, specifically targeting fragile or conflict-affected contexts. Daily responsibilities include strategic business development, high-level engagement with governments and multilateral partners, and overseeing the design and operational management of complex programs utilizing P4P’s innovative tools, such as the AI-powered Peace Navigator. The successful candidate must combine strategic leadership with operational delivery, mentor project teams, and be prepared for frequent travel to fragile zones. Advanced University Degree
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in peace consolidation, governance, or international policy
- Extensive experience working at the country level, specifically in fragile or conflict-affected contexts
- Proven track record in designing and directing complex international programs or country portfolios
- Solid background in strategic business development, including drafting proposals and managing budgets
