Instrumentation and Control Planning Engineer | EMSR Planer (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is for an Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Planning Engineer tasked with managing the full lifecycle planning and project execution of electrical systems within demanding plant construction environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include the detailed planning and projection of electrical installations, specifying devices for Electrical, Measurement, and Automation Technology, and rigorous project planning and control in close collaboration with the Project Manager. A key part of the job involves the technical evaluation of offers for I&C equipment, maintaining strict budget and schedule control, and compiling comprehensive electrical documentation. Furthermore, the engineer will be responsible for executing loop checks within the plant and supporting the project leadership during the commissioning phase. The ideal candidate holds a university degree or Technician qualification in Electrical or Automation Engineering, possesses deep knowledge of relevant national and international standards, and has professional experience, preferably in the Chemical or Pharmaceutical industry. Strong verbal and written proficiency in both German and English is required for this challenging role.
