Job Summary

This Senior Scientist role focuses on advanced Downstream Processing (DSP) development within the regulated GMP environment of the pharmaceutical and life science industries. The core responsibilities involve the independent planning, execution, and evaluation of experiments for the DSP development of recombinant cells and proteins, adhering strictly to Quality by Design (QbD) principles. A key focus is the design and implementation of experimental study designs, including Design of Experiments (DoE). The successful candidate will set up and utilize advanced analytical lab equipment for high-throughput DSP, specifically chromatography, filtration, and flow cytometry. This position requires a university degree in (Molecular) Biology or Chemistry and several years of industrial laboratory experience, coupled with proficiency in statistical analysis software and the ability to create detailed SOPs and documentation.
