Job Summary

This role involves driving the next level of technological solutions by focusing on model-driven requirements engineering for engine electronics variants (E/E systems). The Software Requirements Engineer will be responsible for documenting requirements using SYSML and MBSE methods, specifically leveraging Vector PREEvision. Key day-to-day tasks include analyzing and defining E/E system context and boundaries, conducting stakeholder interviews to gather requirements, and documenting them in a model-driven approach. You will also be involved in deriving system architectures, moderating software architecture creation, and ensuring requirement traceability and quality through verification and error analysis. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering), is proficient in Model-Driven Requirements Engineering methods (SYSML, UML), and is open to adopting new methodologies. Experience with PREEvision and knowledge of industry-standard requirements norms (like IREB) are highly desirable for success in this challenging position.
