Job Summary

This role, based in the Munich area, involves taking responsibility for the planning, optimization, and scaling of protein purification processes essential for innovative immunoassays and diagnostic kits. The successful candidate will apply expertise in various chromatography methods, including Affinity, IEX, HIC, and SEC, and perform antibody and antigen conjugation, developing scalable processes for production transfer. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating project tasks, leading optimization efforts, establishing in-process analytics, and organizing work independently while communicating results to interdisciplinary teams. This is a unique opportunity within pharmaceutical research at BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING to drive the development of high-quality diagnostic products, requiring a strong academic background in biochemistry and practical experience in protein handling within a hygienic environment, preferably immunology.
