Job Summary
This role offers significant independence and extensive travel across Switzerland, focusing on the maintenance, repair, installation, and user training for high-tech analytical measuring devices utilized in academia and industry, particularly within the Life Sciences, Chemistry, and New Materials sectors. You will be responsible for executing preventive maintenance schedules and addressing repairs promptly. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, demonstrating excellent comprehension of microtechnology, electronics, and the software components related to analytical instruments. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ETH/FH), Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, Physics Laboratory Technician, or equivalent technical qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in maintenance, repair, and installation of complex technical instruments
- Proven ability to conduct user training sessions effectively
- Strong understanding of both microtechnology and the electronics/software components of analytical measuring devices
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland for approximately two-thirds of the working time
