Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive engineering and project planning for electrical, instrumentation, and control (E/MSR) technology across various industrial sites in Western Germany (Cologne, Marl, Gelsenkirchen, Leverkusen, Wuppertal). Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and planning hardware and/or software solutions for process control and automation systems, coordinating technical implementation, and integrating new systems with existing infrastructure. A critical component of the job is participating in the commissioning of complex industrial plants, performing function tests, initial operation, optimization, and final acceptance. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technician qualification, and possesses initial experience in basic and detail engineering within E/MSR. Knowledge of specific CAE/control systems like E-Plan P8 or Siemens PCS7 is highly desirable, making this an excellent opportunity for engineers looking to apply their skills in challenging projects within the chemical or power plant sectors.
