Job Summary

This full-time Laboratory Technician role, located near Dassel, focuses heavily on quality control and specialized laboratory testing across microbiology, chemistry, and molecular biology. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing quality checks on membrane and paper filter products, conducting extensive microbiological tasks such as working with bacterial strains, germ counting, bioburden, and particle measurements. The technician will also execute complex analytical tests like IC, GC, and HPLC during incoming goods inspections of raw materials and semi-finished products. A crucial part of the role involves product-specific physical and chemical analyses, including molecular biology techniques such as Western Blot. Candidates must ensure meticulous documentation, evaluation of tests, and reporting according to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards. The ideal candidate holds vocational training as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) or an equivalent qualification, coupled with strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
