Job Summary

This role involves essential maintenance and repair work on electrical operating systems and building infrastructure within the rail vehicle testing center of Siemens Mobility in Wegberg. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing scheduled maintenance according to internal and manufacturer specifications, including cleaning, lubrication, and fluid replenishment, as well as conducting functional tests and evaluating monitoring protocols. Key tasks also include electrical infrastructure work such as laying cables, installing outlets and lighting, and performing minor repairs on electrical equipment. A crucial part of the job involves switching electrical systems in both low-voltage and high-voltage networks (up to 36 kV) and performing mandatory DGUV inspections on fixed and portable equipment. Candidates must possess a completed professional qualification in electrical engineering and be prepared for 3-shift operation and weekend work, offering a path to permanent employment with attractive IG Metall/Electrical industry sector bonuses.
