Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Software Architect for Simulation Control Stations within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The architect will be responsible for defining and maintaining the technical architecture for simulation control, instructor operating, and flight training debriefing stations. Day-to-day tasks include gathering requirements from stakeholders, designing intuitive user interfaces using a custom Qt/QML framework, and ensuring the codebase is clean, efficient, and scalable. The role requires strong proficiency in C++ and the Qt/QML technology stack, along with professional experience in designing complex software architectures, particularly for frontend/UI applications. The successful candidate will also participate in agile development ceremonies, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers, ensuring the software adheres to best practices and integrates smoothly with other systems.
