Job Summary

This role involves leading and developing a Service Desk team, focusing on both personnel and technical guidance within the DRV Bund IT environment. The Team Leader will be responsible for analyzing complex IT issues, coordinating the deployment of cross-functional IT services, and optimizing/monitoring existing services, particularly within the framework of Service Level Management (SLM). A key part of the role is contributing to technical IT strategy, managing core IT Service Management processes (Service Desk, Incident Management, IT Performance Management), and presenting technical solutions at workshops. The ideal candidate must possess a strong IT background, proven experience in personnel leadership, and deep practical knowledge of SLM, ITIL, and ITSM tools like BMC Remedy, requiring excellent organizational and communication skills.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor or Diploma FH) in the IT field, or equivalent qualification (e.g., IT-specific qualification), or completed vocational training in the IT field with comparable long-term practical experience in IT.

Experience

  • Long-term relevant professional experience in IT
  • Experience in personnel leadership and development of IT staff
  • In-depth current knowledge and practical experience in SLM
  • Long-term experience with CMDB Tools (e.g., ManTIs and ITM)
