Job Summary

This is a pivotal leadership role as the Head of Technology within VSE Verteilnetz GmbH, a regional network operator focused on 110-kV and 35-kV power grids. The successful candidate will lead four teams comprising over 30 employees, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration while shaping the future of energy supply. Key responsibilities include driving strategic grid development, specifically in high and medium voltage, managing substantial annual investment and maintenance budgets exceeding 50 million Euros, and overseeing grid connection projects from negotiation to implementation. The role also emphasizes promoting digitalization and introducing new technologies for future-proof grid control. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, extensive professional and leadership experience in the network sector, and strong expertise in grid development, asset management, and budget planning. Excellent communication skills in both German and English are required to build strong internal and external partnerships and drive the energy transition forward.
