Job Summary

This position is for an IT Administrator or IT Specialist in System Integration, joining Somitec to deliver customized IT and communications solutions to regional clients. Key daily responsibilities include the comprehensive planning, installation, and configuration of IT and communication (ITK) systems, alongside continuous monitoring, administration, and security hardening of existing infrastructure. The role requires providing 1st and 2nd level technical support, troubleshooting issues, and independently managing customer inquiries. Furthermore, the administrator will be responsible for planning and executing system upgrades, migrations, and patch management. Successful candidates must have a background in IT system administration, especially within Windows environments, coupled with experience in virtualization, MS Active Directory, EntraID, and network technologies (VLAN, VPN, VoIP).
