This is a key leadership role for a visionary Chief Digital Officer to drive the digital transformation and Smart City initiatives for the City of Ahaus, a recognized regional pioneer in digitalization. The CDO will lead the Digitalization Staff Unit, overseeing the strategic direction, implementation, and continuous development of the city's digitalization strategy. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading complex Smart City projects, establishing new trends like Artificial Intelligence, promoting digital culture change, and functioning as the central link between innovation, technology, and public administration. Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Management, Public Management, Public Administration, E-Government, or civil service qualification for career group 2, 2nd entry level of non-technical administrative service (formerly higher service).
