Job Summary

This role involves serving as a specialist for the technical operations management within the New Financial Management (NFM) system, primarily utilizing SAP, for the Ministry of Finance and Europe in Brandenburg. The professional will handle fundamental issues and coordination of standardized cameral accounting (NFM) and SAP application support, acting as the central point of contact for all technical questions related to budget, treasury, and accounting procedures, including cost and performance accounting and fixed asset accounting. Key responsibilities include ensuring the daily operation of the SAP standard software for approximately 2,500 users across 120 authorities, driving software development based on state requirements, and managing the technical operations team. The ideal candidate must possess a scientific university degree (Master's/Diplom) in Public Administration, Economics, Business Administration (with a focus on Public Management, Finance, or Controlling), or Law, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to link specialized and interdisciplinary knowledge.
