Job Summary

This role involves administering and monitoring the core IT infrastructure for the Bad Kreuznach district, focusing heavily on open-source virtualization (Proxmox) and network management across internal and remote sites. Key responsibilities include maintaining the network infrastructure, overseeing backup/replication systems (PBS/TrueNAS), and performing installation, configuration, and optimization of various IT systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification and possesses strong practical experience with diverse operating systems (Windows, Linux), scripting (PHP, Bash), and core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
