Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Financial Accountant, or a Tax Clerk specializing in Financial Accounting, to join a leading, internationally active family-owned business specializing in diamond tools. The professional will be responsible for the comprehensive management of accounts payable and receivable, booking all current business transactions, and performing account reconciliation. Key duties include managing payment transactions, monitoring bank balances, and creating ongoing liquidity forecasts. A significant part of the role involves contributing to monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code). The ideal candidate must have a commercial qualification, several years of experience in financial accounting, and ideally, experience with payroll accounting, specifically using DATEV Lohn & Gehalt. Discretion, accuracy, and a proactive approach to process improvement are essential for success in this demanding and varied position.
