Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technical Assistant based in Leuna, joining the Hazardous Substances, Biological Agents, and Analytics division of a German statutory accident insurance institution (BG RCI). The primary responsibilities include conducting ICP-MS analyses and gravimetric analyses of air samples, performing hazardous substance screenings on air and material samples, and determining safety-related key figures. A crucial part of the job involves method development and validation for ICP-MS and Biomonitoring, alongside planning and executing experimental prevention studies. Candidates must have a completed vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant or Chemical Laboratory Technician, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience in a chemical laboratory, particularly with knowledge of analytical chemistry, ICP-MS, and sample preparation across various matrices.
