Job Summary

This role involves crucial responsibility for the planning, implementation, and administration of the university's firewall infrastructure and overall network security architecture. The specialist will manage security policies and access controls using tools like CISCO ISE (Identity Services Engine) and Next-Generation Firewalls. Key tasks include monitoring the network infrastructure for potential threats and vulnerabilities, supporting the university-wide LAN, WLAN, and Datacenter network, and actively participating in internal IT projects such as network segmentation and 802.1x implementation. Candidates must possess a completed or near-completion IT education and strong knowledge of system administration, networking technologies (Cisco solutions preferred), and common operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
