Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing the manufacturing segment for steam turbine components in Görlitz, focusing on future-oriented sectors like biomass and solar thermal energy. The Head of Manufacturing will lead a team of 30 to 50 employees, taking full responsibility for budget, scheduling, and quality assurance in the production and assembly of components. Key responsibilities include strategic personnel planning, enforcing EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards, and driving continuous improvement through LEAN and PROMT initiatives, automation, and digitalization. The ideal candidate is an experienced, change-oriented leader with a degree in engineering, extensive experience in machining or assembly, and fluent communication skills in both German and English, dedicated to fostering a collaborative and high-quality production environment.
