Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to actively contribute to the energy transition by ensuring the continuous reliability of critical digital infrastructure within a major energy provider's datacenters. As a Datacenter Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of IT hardware, including installation, maintenance, and upgrades of passive infrastructure, servers, storage, and network components. Daily activities involve rapid fault analysis and resolution, meticulous documentation within the incident process, and establishing and maintaining robust cabling and connection points, particularly fiber optics. The ideal candidate possesses vocational training in fields like Electrical Engineering or IT System Integration, coupled with specialized knowledge in passive cabling and measurement techniques. Success requires a structured approach, technical finesse, and the ability to work independently while coordinating closely with internal IT teams and external partners to maintain minimal downtime in a high-availability environment.
