Job Summary

This role is ideal for a State-Certified IT Technician eager to support the vast educational network infrastructure within the Berlin public sector. Day-to-day responsibilities involve maintaining and administering PC and network laboratories, ensuring robust network security, and performing critical tasks such as installation, configuration, and data backup/recovery for both individual and server systems. The technician will also assist with user account management, procurement planning for necessary IT replacements, and providing essential user support for hardware and software operations, including imaging and software distribution. Key requirements include a formal qualification as a State-Certified Technician in IT, Network Technology, or a related field, coupled with fundamental IT knowledge and proficiency in standard software.
