Job Summary

This role involves working as an IT Security Specialist within an IT and Engineering focused family business, supporting project realization and technical staffing. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing and technically evaluating penetration tests, analyzing and assessing the feasibility of recommended security measures, and conducting risk assessments for existing IT services and dependencies. A key part of the role is developing correlation searches in Splunk to visualize findings, identifying vulnerabilities and attack patterns, and defining SIEM use cases based on pentest results. The specialist will also contribute to the ongoing development of the Detection & Response strategy. Candidates must possess profound experience in IT Security, Offensive Security, and Penetration Testing, coupled with deep knowledge of Splunk and experience in the SIEM environment. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for clear communication and project work.
