Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated IT Support Specialist (1st/2nd Level) to join a dynamic family-owned engineering and IT firm. The specialist will be responsible for providing proactive, first-level IT support, managing user requests, and resolving technical faults using an established ticketing system while adhering to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Day-to-day tasks include error analysis, troubleshooting, administrative support for IT operations, and maintaining software patches and updates according to internal guidelines. Successful candidates must possess a relevant vocational qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), foundational knowledge of operating systems, Office applications, and mobile devices, and initial practical experience in IT support is highly desirable. This position requires excellent German language skills and flexibility to cover potential shifts spanning evenings and nights (Monday through Saturday). Required Skills

Education

Vocational training in IT Specialist for System Integration, System Electronics, Technical Assistant for Informatics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Initial practical experience in IT support
  • Initial practical experience handling ticketing systems
  • Experience in telephone customer service (advantageous)
