Job Summary

This role involves driving development projects from the initial concept phase through to series production readiness. The Design Engineer will be responsible for setting up prototype and test arrangements in a laboratory environment, followed by rigorous testing and validation to ensure product quality and functionality. A key aspect of the job is generating innovative proposals, assessing their technical feasibility and commercial benefit, and actively participating in the continuous improvement and cost optimization of existing products. The ideal candidate holds a degree in engineering or a technical qualification combined with a technician certification, possesses fundamental experience with Solid Edge, and is proficient in German. This position requires strong analytical thinking, a structured approach to problem-solving, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams in product development and management.
