Job Summary

This role seeks a sharp-witted IT Security Specialist to join a team dedicated to protecting clients in the ever-evolving cyberspace. The core responsibilities include the evaluation, selection, and implementation of modern IT security tools and solutions to secure hosting infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting and analyzing vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to proactively identify risks and define countermeasures. You will also advise IT project teams on implementing security requirements compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI-Grundschutz). Collaboration with the Security Operations Center (SOC) on Incident Response Management is crucial. The ideal candidate brings extensive IT security expertise, strong communication skills, and a background in Computer Science or a related field, along with fluency in both German and English, making this a key role in the fight against cyber threats.
