Job Summary

The Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund, a cornerstone of German social security, is seeking multiple IT Service Managers to join their Application Services division in Berlin. This role is central to maintaining a stable and high-performing IT environment for approximately 27,000 employees, focusing on modern IT workplaces, hardware, and software. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and monitoring IT service providers, handling complex contractual relationships and SLAs, and implementing escalation management. Candidates will be responsible for applying and continuously improving standardized service management processes, ideally based on ITIL, and acting as a key interface between internal departments, stakeholders, and external partners. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in IT or economics, or equivalent experience, and strong foundational knowledge in service and quality management, coupled with high service orientation and robust analytical skills.
