Job Summary

This is a versatile and challenging Controller role within the Operations and Manufacturing division of a globally leading technology and plant engineering company based near Zurich North, offering flexible home office options (2-3 days). You will be a key player in the Controlling/Finance team, actively shaping the function alongside the Head of Controlling. Your primary responsibilities include comprehensive business and operations controlling, financial analysis within production and project environments across various international sites and business units. You will analyze production, sales, logistics, and operations costs, define KPIs, prepare monthly forecasts, and monitor manufacturing costs. Crucially, you will act as a sparring partner for Swiss management and decision-makers globally, preparing detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for various product groups. Success requires proven expertise in production controlling, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication in both German and English. Required Skills

Education

Completed basic vocational training plus further education in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration (specialization in Finance/Controlling).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a similar Controller position.
  • Mandatory practical experience in Production Controlling (manufacturing costs, plant controlling).
  • Experience in an international production environment (e.g., technical industry, machinery/plant engineering) is advantageous.
