Job Summary

This role involves managing and coordinating the comprehensive SAP strategy for the Federal Railway Assets Authority (BEV), focusing heavily on system landscapes related to payroll, accounting, and human resources. Day-to-day tasks include steering and coordinating SAP operations (such as payroll, accounting, and HR management), preparing technical decisions, resolving module conflicts, and promoting standard SAP solutions by organizing the reduction of custom developments. The specialist will also be crucial in supporting the migration to SAP HANA, introducing new components (especially in financial accounting), and managing external service providers for system development. Key requirements include a Master's degree in IT or Business Informatics, coupled with several years of experience in the SAP environment (FI/CO, HCM, etc.) and IT project steering. This position offers the stability of public service, opportunities for strategic planning, and involvement in critical IT infrastructure projects like the integration of e-invoicing.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master, State Examination, or equivalent scientific degree) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a business-related field with an IT focus; or eligibility for the higher technical or non-technical administrative service.

Experience
