Pharmaceutical Biochemist / Senior Drug Discovery Scientist | Biochemiker Pharma (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves contributing to the advancement of SAR/SPR strategies and data-driven decision-making within compound design for a global leader in pharmaceuticals. The scientist will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary research groups, integrating chemical, biological, and pharmacological insights to prioritize projects in cardiovascular, oncology, and immunology therapeutic areas. Key responsibilities include providing scientific analysis to support strategic project management decisions and conducting IP evaluations related to drug discovery and development. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry and possesses extensive experience (at least 15 years) in early drug discovery, from hit identification to preclinical candidate selection. Proficiency in Drug Design, SAR/SPR, and project steering is essential, along with excellent English communication skills and a willingness to travel internationally to research sites.
