Scientist, Bio-Polymer Analysis via Mass Spectrometry | Wissenschaftler (m/w/d) Bio-Polymeranalyse mittels Massenspektrometrie
Unknown Employer
Job Summary
This role involves joining an interdisciplinary team focused on applying a wide range of mass spectrometry-based methods to support the development of proteinogenic reagents in diagnostic tests. The Scientist will be responsible for developing and optimizing instrumental-analytical procedures, primarily (U)HPLC-MS(/MS) and HPLC methods, along with sample preparation workflows for analyzing biopolymers in complex matrices like human samples. Day-to-day tasks include structural analysis of proteins in challenging matrices, validation and transfer of test methods for quality control labs, and maintaining HPLC and MS instruments. The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology with a strong background in instrumental analytics, and possesses several years of practical experience in (U)HPLC-MS/MS. Fluency in both German and English is required, alongside the ability to independently manage technical projects and potentially lead small, fast-paced teams.
