Chemical Laboratory Technician | Chemielaborant (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves working as a Chemical Laboratory Technician within a physical testing laboratory, focusing on the quality assurance and monitoring of highly innovative thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) for international use. Day-to-day tasks include conducting quality inspections, preparing test specimens and films using injection molding or film extrusion of TPU granules, and performing mechanical and analytical testing. The technician is responsible for controlling, evaluating, and documenting measurement results according to established standards, as well as maintaining and updating testing equipment and the internal lab network. The ideal candidate must have a completed education as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent (e.g., CTA), possess fundamental knowledge of LIMS and analytical software, and demonstrate technical understanding and manual dexterity with lab machinery. Strong German language skills (written and spoken) and basic English are required, along with a willingness to work in alternating day shifts (early/late).
