Job Summary

This role involves acting as the primary system owner and work supervisor for assigned plant areas within a large international chemical corporation specializing in aluminum-based specialty products. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and executing maintenance, repair, and cleaning tasks to ensure optimal technical plant condition, actively eliminating weaknesses, and regularly inspecting facilities to maintain functionality. The technician will be responsible for coordinating and supervising safety switch-offs and clearances according to VDE standards, collaborating closely with production, maintenance, and shift supervisors, and managing external contractors. Key qualifications include a vocational background in electrical, measurement, and control technology (E/M+R), foundational knowledge of PLCs, process control systems, and CAD tools like EPLAN P8, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness. Required Skills

Education

Vocational training in E/M+R (e.g., Process Control Electronics Technician, Automation Technology Electrician) with additional qualification as a state-certified Technician or Master Electrician
