Job Summary

This role offers a dynamic opportunity to join a leading European independent power producer focused on renewable energies (Solar and Wind). The Tax Manager will play a key role in ensuring tax compliance for domestic group companies (corporations and partnerships) and driving optimization of internal tax processes. A major focus of the position involves independently managing national and international M&A projects across Europe, specifically handling tax due diligence and reviewing Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) for German projects, and coordinating external advisors for foreign projects. The manager will also be responsible for calculating current and deferred taxes for consolidated financial statements, managing tax audits, and providing expert advice on diverse national and international tax issues within a multinational group. This position is ideal for a certified Tax Advisor with extensive experience in compliance and M&A within a major consulting firm or international corporation, seeking to contribute significantly to the energy transition.

Required Skills

Education

Certified Tax Advisor (Steuerberaterexamen)

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience, particularly in compliance and M&A
  • Professional experience gained in a reputable tax consulting/auditing firm or an international corporation
  • Experience working with financial accounting and controlling tools (e.g., LucaNet)
  • Initial experience in transfer pricing (ideally)
  • Experience working with tax tools (ideally GlobalTaxCenter - GTC)
