Job Summary

This role involves coordinating all trade-specific commissioning activities (400V - 110kV) at a power plant site in Berlin, where new power and heat generation facilities are being successively commissioned alongside existing operations. The specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and organizing commissioning processes, tests, measurements, and trial operations, including managing external commissioning teams and developing client standards for commissioning activities (methods, processes, tools). A key focus is supporting the HSE Manager in adhering to the Permit to Work (PTW) procedure, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, and conducting Pre-Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSRs). This position is crucial for the energy transition in Berlin, supporting the company's goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2045 by integrating new, climate-friendly generation assets into the largest district heating network in Western Europe.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical study program

Experience

  • Several years of experience in the planning and/or commissioning of electrical systems
  • Experience ideally in the energy industry, infrastructure, or plant construction sectors
  • Experience in interdisciplinary work and dealing with various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of contract management and occupational safety
