Job Summary
This part-time Controlling Specialist role, based in Dresden and contracted until December 2027, is vital for the State Office for Archaeology Saxony. The specialist will primarily handle budget control and time tracking within the organization's ERP system. Key responsibilities include generating, reviewing, and analyzing financial and time reports, analyzing cost trends, and preparing annual statistics. The role also involves significant communication, requiring the specialist to forward reports to cost center managers, address queries in collaboration with accounting, and resolve technical reporting issues, including communicating with software vendors. Candidates must possess a commercial or administrative vocational qualification, strong ERP system knowledge, and excellent proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, coupled with a structured, solution-oriented work ethic.

- The position is part-time (20 hours per week) and temporary, starting 01.02.2026 and ending 31.12.2027. Applicants who have previously held a fixed-term or permanent employment contract with the Free State of Saxony cannot be considered due to the legal basis of the temporary contract (§ 14 Abs. 2 TzBfG).
