Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position at Heraeus Epurio focuses on driving innovation in specialty chemicals by executing complex laboratory work. The core responsibilities include the planning and execution of synthesis reactions, specifically polymerizations, at a lab scale. The technician will be responsible for analyzing and characterizing manufactured samples, conducting formulation and coating experiments, and independently documenting and interpreting the resulting data. A crucial part of the role involves close collaboration with the lab team and supporting the critical scale-up process, transitioning successful laboratory products into industrial production. Candidates must have successfully completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician and subsequently qualified as a Chemical Engineering Technician (or equivalent). Several years of professional experience, particularly with knowledge of polymers or polymer dispersions, are required, alongside excellent German and good English language skills.
