Job Summary
This role involves working as an Expert/Specialist in Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technology within the Real Estate division of TÜV Hessen, a part of the TÜV SÜD Group, based in Frankfurt am Main. The specialist will be responsible for the independent inspection and evaluation of building technology systems, specifically focusing on ventilation, smoke extraction, CO warning, and fire suppression systems, ensuring compliance with national and European directives. Key responsibilities include conducting pre-commissioning and recurring technical inspections under building law, meticulously documenting findings in reports and expert opinions, and managing subsequent client correspondence. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Building Services Engineering or a related field, possesses professional experience in planning and maintenance within this sector, and is committed to competent, customer-oriented field service and regional travel. This position offers the opportunity for professional qualification as a building law inspection expert.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (B. Eng.) in Building Services Engineering, Supply Technology, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology, or a comparable technical discipline. Existing supervisory approval under building law is advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in planning and maintenance within the field of ventilation and air conditioning technology (desirable)
- Experience in external customer service (implied by field service duties)
