Job Summary
This role is for a qualified Technician to lead and manage the Road Maintenance Depot team in Friedberg, ensuring the safety and reliability of federal, state, and district roads in the region. Day-to-day responsibilities include significant involvement in financial and construction supervision, coordinating seasonal road maintenance work (such as winter services and pavement repairs), and processing construction applications and special use permits according to road traffic regulations. The successful candidate will also manage traffic safety measures for both internal and third-party projects, and crucially, ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards. This position requires a state-certified Technician qualification in fields like Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture, coupled with strong German communication skills (C1 level) and a Class B driving license.
