Job Summary

This role involves leading the Digital Education Department for a municipal IT service provider focused on innovative and reliable IT solutions for local governments in West Mecklenburg. The Head of Department will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the team, ensuring the continuous development and expansion of the department, and maximizing its contribution to overall company success. Day-to-day activities include developing implementation concepts for media development plans, creating scenarios for learning-promoting IT infrastructure, and overseeing a competence center for holistic technical school IT, often operating within a grant-driven environment. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Business Administration or Informatics, or a commercial/IT-related vocational qualification, coupled with several years of professional experience, strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to high service quality and continuous departmental improvement.
