Job Summary
The Diakonisches Werk der evangelischen Kirche in Württemberg e.V., a leading welfare organization, is seeking a Technical Director to manage the technical operations and facility management for their state headquarters, starting May 1, 2026. This full-time role involves leading a small team responsible for the maintenance and smooth operation of two administrative buildings and their external facilities. Key responsibilities include optimizing maintenance and repair strategies, overseeing necessary construction and renovation projects (including calculation and implementation), and advancing the technical infrastructure, particularly building and operational electrical systems, in collaboration with external partners. The ideal candidate must possess strong experience in building, electrical, information, and machine technology, coupled with a relevant qualification (Master Craftsman, Technical Business Administrator, Technician, or relevant degree). Strong organizational skills, results-oriented action, and experience in the technical leadership of staff are essential for success in this demanding and varied role.

Completed vocational training with relevant additional qualification (Master Craftsman, Technical Business Administrator, Facility Management, Technician) or a corresponding degree.
