Job Summary

This is a versatile and responsible role within the internal sales department of a leading company in the machinery industry, located near Winterthur. The successful candidate will serve as the competent contact person for national and international customers, providing technical and commercial advice on the company's renowned products. Key responsibilities include managing the entire order processing lifecycle, from generating quotes and invoices to coordinating deliveries, alongside handling various customer projects. You will also actively participate in internal projects and customer service improvement processes, collaborating closely with departments like Production and Engineering. To excel, you should possess a technical background combined with commercial expertise, strong organizational skills to manage multiple parallel orders, and fluency in both German and English. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical apprenticeship (e.g., Poly-mechanic) combined with commercial further education (e.g., Technical Sales Specialist or Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education - HF Technician)

Experience

  • Several years of experience in a similar technical sales or customer consulting role
  • Professional experience in complete order processing (A-Z)
  • Prior experience, preferably within the machinery industry
