Job Summary

This role is for a Project Engineer specializing in fuel cell systems, working with a leading global systems provider for submarines and naval vessels in Kiel. The core responsibilities involve contributing to the development of proprietary fuel cell plants for future submarine projects and integrating these systems into customer projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating project-relevant documentation, technical specifications, presentations, and acceptance documents, as well as leading project meetings with international clients and interdisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Energy Technology, possesses several years of project leadership experience, preferably in fuel cell technology or energy generation systems, and is proficient in tools like PLM, SAP, and Doors NG. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge naval technology and requires fluent German and English skills.

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Several years of experience in project responsibility
  • Experience in fuel cell technology, electromobility, or energy generation systems (ideal)
  • Experience working with international customers or interdisciplinary teams
