This crucial role involves coordinating, executing, and evaluating Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities, specifically focusing on X-ray examinations (Radiographic Testing) for quality assurance at Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH, a leading defense technology firm in Unterlüß. The technician is responsible for planning and setting up complex X-ray test configurations to meet specific material requirements, managing the organizational and timely processing of tests, and performing detailed analysis of digital data and images, accurately documenting any deviations. A core responsibility is ensuring the safe handling of explosive and hazardous components during the testing processes, strictly adhering to all relevant safety regulations. Successful candidates must hold vocational training in a technical field (such as Mechatronics or Industrial Mechanics) and possess RT-F and RT-D Level 2 certifications according to EN ISO 9712. Required Skills

Education

Vocational training (Apprenticeship) as Energy Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or Industrial Mechanic; RT-F and RT-D Level 2 Certification according to EN ISO 9712 (or comparable qualification)
