Job Summary
This role involves actively shaping the central data architecture for a company specializing in high-end simulation systems and training solutions. The Data Engineer will be responsible for developing high-performance ETL processes, data models, and data flows, ensuring a consistent data foundation by integrating and harmonizing various internal and external data sources. A key focus is translating departmental requirements into actionable, data-driven decisions and implementing modern Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using MS Power BI, from initial concept to final, value-adding dashboard. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a related field and brings several years of experience in Data Warehousing, BI development, and proficiency with relational databases and essential data languages like SQL, DAX, and Power Query (M).
