Job Summary

This role involves supporting and advising energy transmission projects on all legal and internal requirements related to environmental, health, and safety (EHS). The EHS Project Manager will provide expert guidance to project leadership and teams on EHS matters, ensuring the implementation of Zero Harm Framework activities. Key responsibilities include guiding EHS colleagues on project construction sites, reporting and analyzing EHS incident statistics to identify trends, and conducting audits of construction sites and suppliers. The position focuses on continuous improvement within an Integrated Management System, particularly adhering to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards, and promoting a strong safety culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EHS professional to contribute to significant energy transmission projects, ensuring safety and compliance.

Required Skills

Education

Technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering), ideally combined with business component and/or technical vocational training; Certified Safety Specialist (Sicherheitsfachkraft); SiGeKo training (desirable); ISO 14001 / 45001 (18001) qualifications for internal and external audits (desirable); First aid training (desirable); Fire protection training (desirable)

Experience

  • Several years of relevant experience in the high-voltage transmission business (e.g., maritime grid connection projects or traditional onshore business)
  • 2-3 years of project or construction site experience in EHS
  • Experience in conducting workshops, assessments, and coaching
  • Experience in accident investigation
